Vault of Midnight and Senate Theater present SUPERMAN, the 1978 Richard Donner classic that made you believe a man could fly, and changed everything.

Join us on January 26th, for a one-time screening of the iconic film, a staple of American cinema and comic books. The historic Senate Theater [nearly 93 years old now] is an 800-seat theater located in southwest Detroit that regularly features movies and live shows with regular concerts on a Wurlitzer pipe organ, and we couldn’t be more excited to team up with them for this occasion!

Just before the destruction of the planet Krypton, scientist Jor-El sends his infant son Kal-El on a spaceship to Earth. Raised by kindly farmers Jonathan and Martha Kent, young Clark discovers the source of his superhuman powers and moves to Metropolis to fight evil. As Superman, he battles the villainous Lex Luthor, while, as novice reporter Clark Kent, he attempts to woo fellow journalist, Lois Lane.

Doors will open at 7:00 PM, followed by an organ overture at 7:30. The feature will begin at 8:00. At intermission, we will be raffling off a $50 Vault of Midnight gift card. Tickets for this event are $5 and can be purchased here. Superman is rated PG; This event is all-ages with parental guidance suggested.
