Vault of Midnight and NBM Graphic Novels present MICHAEL CHERKAS (Red Harvest and The Silent Invasion) and LARRY HANCOCK (The Silent Invasion) for an in-store signing! 

Michael Cherkas has worked as a graphic designer, art director, cartoonist and illustrator for over 40 years. His comic book work includes The Silent Invasion, The Purple Ray, both with Larry Hancock, Suburban Nightmares with Hancock and John van Bruggen, and The New Frontier with John Sabljic. His most recent graphic novel, Red Harvest, is set in Soviet Ukraine during the Holodomor—Stalin’s terrorfamine, which devastated that country in 1932– 33. He and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Toronto, Ontario.

Larry Hancock was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1954. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics and since then has toiled in Toronto as a Chartered Accountant. However, counter to the view of accountants as boring, he has written The Silent Invasion and The Purple Ray with Michael Cherkas and Suburban Nightmares with Cherkas and John van Bruggen.
