But once a year, on the first Saturday in May, Vault of Midnight joins forces with local comic shops worldwide to offer free comic books to the masses. On this glorious day, christened FREE COMIC BOOK DAY, free comic books rain down from the heavens into the hands of THOUSANDS of eagerly awaiting fans and unsuspecting bystanders alike. We aim to spread the word about everything the comic book medium has to offer by sharing our favorite titles in an approachable and risk-free way.
