Join us on Saturday, February 15th from 4-6pm at Vault Ann Arbor to celebrate the newest release of Cursed Pirate Girl by Jeremy Bastian. 

Cursed Pirate Girl: Malodius Mutiny collects The Bright Star and The Devil's Cave, chapters 4 and 5 of Jeremy Bastian's Cursed Pirate Girl limited series. Following the events of Volume One we join Cursed Pirate Girl, PepperDice and the Swordfish Brothers- Sir Haftu and Sir Halek as they continue the search for Cursed Pirate Girl's father, one of the fantastic pirate Captains of the Omerta Seas. 

In this edition one of the characters, having fallen out of the story, has found a magical item that allows him to take control of the series publication.  His wish is to end the story now with this book.  With two final chapters yet to come, can Pid and Pook find a way to stop him so we will have the complete Volume Two?  With a new 10 page gallery, this is Jeremy's best work to date.  His intensely detailed nautical fairytale is a book unique to itself and must be seen up close. 

-Jeremy Bastian grew up in Ypsilanti, after graduating Ypsilanti High School in 1996 he attended the (now defunct) Art Institute of Pittsburgh, graduating in 98. He then moved back home and got a job at Art Attack an art supply store (also sadly defunct) on the campus of EMU.  Where he met his lovely wife Emily and now they both live and create art in Ann Arbor. Cursed Pirate Girl chapter one was first self published in 2006 and now has an international following.  Jeremy draws the comic series at actual size and inks entirely with a size 00 brush.
